Product name: Perpetua table lamp by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Flos, 1980s
Perpetua table lamp designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1981 and manufactured by Flos.
This halogen lamp consists of a black aluminum stem, a round metal shade and a white plastic base that serves as a charger. The round reflector is placed between two metal rails, so that it can rotate and thus change direction of the lighting.
A special feature of this lamp is that it can also be used as a torch, by separating it from the white base. When charged it can be used wirelessly for 15/30 minutes. The lamp has switch allowing to choose between 120 and 240 volts.
