Purple Glicine floor lamp made from of Murano glass, designed by Gae Aulenti for Vistosi, 1976.

The model  is executed “in blown glass, chromatically worked as peacock’s feathers” (source: leaflet on the complete Glicine series consisting of lamps, vases and containers). The main colours are purple and green.

The lamp has a round metal base, a large glass piece with an indentation at 24 cm / 9 inches from the floor, and a dome-shaped top. The internal opaline glass diffuser ensures a balanced light distribution from the light source.

All elements are in very good vintage condition.
