Ziggurat floor lamp by Shigeaki Asahara for Stilnovo, 1980s

Ziggurat is a halogen floor lamp designed by Shigeaki Asahara in 1981, and manufactured by Italian lighting manufacturer Stilnovo.

The lamp consists of a conical metal base and an inverted ziggurat-shaped moulded glass diffuser with a metal top. This Ziggurat floor lamp is grey with brass enhancements.

This floor lamp is in very good vintage condition. There are some small scratches on the grey base and on the brass stem (see last two pictures).
