Black Samurai Floor Lamp by Shigeaki Asahara for Stilnovo, 1970s

Samurai is an impressive floor lamp by Japanese designer Shigeaki Asahara for Italian lighting manufacturer Stilnovo. The height of this halogen floor lamp is adjustable with a maximum height of 2 meters. The dimmer is subtly incorporated in the counterpoise.

The lamp has been produced in three different colours: white, amaranth/grey and black. The one on offer is the hardest to find black version. The condition of the lamp is excellent.
