Pair of Eco floor lamps by Mario Barbaglia & Marco Colombo for Italiana Luce, 1980s

A pair of Eco halogen floor lamps designed by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo for Italiana Luce, 1980s. The name of the lamp Eco, or in English Echo, is probably derived from the two similar elements that form the bottom and the shade of the lamp.

In height-adjustable telescopic construction made of black painted metal and cast iron base. The height of both lamps can vary between 142 cm / 56 inch and 192 cm / 76 inch (!). The round shade is as well adjustable in all directions. Both lamps are equipped with cord dimmer.

They are in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of age and use. Two rare pieces. The price is for the pair.

Various elements in this model are as well visible in the Duna floor lamp which was also designed by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo, but unlike the Eco floor lamp this model is manufactured by PAF Studio. We have a pair of Duna lamps in our collection.
