Pair of Duna floor lamps by Mario Barbaglia & Marco Colombo for PAF Studio, 1980s

A pair of halogen floor lamps Duna designed by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo for PAF Studio.

Noticeable details of this early edition: sliding dimmer on the side of the shade (instead of on the electrical cord), the subtle curves in the shade and the cast iron base and the flexibility of the lamp. The height of both lamps can vary between 137 cm / 54 inch and 196 cm / 78 inch (!) and the rectangular shade is as well adjustable light in all directions.

The lamps are entirely black. They are in very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use.

Various elements in this model are as well visible in the Eco floor lamp which was also designed by Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo, but unlike the Duna floor lamp this model is manufactured by Italiana Luce.
