Black Cigno halogen table lamp by iGuzzini, 1970s

Highly original Cigno halogen table lamp by iGuzzini, probably designed in the 1970s.

The lamp resembles the Wing lamps that Bruno Gecchelin designed for O-Luce in the 1970s and which have been described in the ‘Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 197 (1971). We have a Wing wall lamp in our collection. Through the similarities they form a nice pair.

This model features a heavy metal base and has five plastic wings near around the lamp shade. It is in excellent vintage condition. Rare piece.
