Product name: Pair of large Delta pendants by Sergio Mazza for Artemide, 1960s
Sergio Mazza designed these Delta Grande pendants for Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide in the 1960s.
The model consists of a pressed crystal bowl and an opaline shade. The structure is from matt nickel-plated brass.
The condition of these pieces is very good. There are some small traces of usage on the glass. Currently there is one metal link between the lamp and the ceiling cap; the total length of this can be easily extended by replacing the link with a metal cord and adjusting the power cord accordingly.
Delta is part of a range of lighting models named after the Greek alphabet. Other lamps from this series are amongst others ‘Pi‘, ‘Kappa’, ‘Omega’, ‘Gamma‘, ‘Sigma’ and ‘Tau‘.
