Product name: Ring A 400 table lamp by Bruno Gecchelin for Arteluce, 1970s
Ring A 400 halogen table lamp, designed by Bruno Gecchelin and produced by Arteluce, 1979.
We found the following description in a Arteluce catalogue: “Desk or table adjustable lamp, giving direct light with 220 V halogen bulb. Base, stem and adjustable reflector in enameled metal. The reflector support, incorporating switch and light intensity regulator as standard, can be rotated on the stem through 360 degrees.”
The lamp was produced in several colours; the lamp on offer is maybe the -most striking- scarlet enameled version. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition.
The Ring table lamp is described in the Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000 by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 269 (1979).
In the Discover section of our website you can find an exclusive interview with Bruno Gecchelin on his long and successful career in which he managed to never copy himself.
