Adjustable table lamp with cast iron base by Valenti, 1970s

Fully adjustable table lamp manufactured by Italian lighting specialist Valenti, probably in the 1970s.

By loosening the black rotary knob, the position of the swivel arm can be changed. In addition, the black caps can also be turned in all directions. The cast iron base which weighs around 5 kg allows the enormous flexibility of the lamp.

The usage of two different light bulbs can further strengthen the adaptability of the lamp. For example, one could place a focused spot in the lower cap, that facilitates reading, and a softer light bulb in the other cap to affect the atmosphere.

The condition of the lamp is good, although the chrome on the stem and the caps show traces of use.

Very rare piece.
