Capacio floor lamp by Fulvio Ferrari for Solka B, 1972

Interesting and absolutely rare Capacio floor lamp designed by Fulvio Ferrari for his own company Solka B.

As you can read in our interview with Fulvio Ferrari, Capacio was the second lamp he designed. For this model Ferrari used already existing components which were used in other industries, like the switch from the Fiat 500 and pincers that are used in chemical laboratories.

Capacio was produced in two versions: vitrified brass and chromed steel. This piece is in chromed steel. It has two spots which are independently adjustable.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
