Table lamp NB 100 by Louis Kalff for Philips, 1950s

One of his first and—as we can say in retrospect—one of Louis Kalff’s best designs for Philips Eindhoven. This minimalistic model is named NB 100. It has a black curved steel frame with a grey dotted lacquered shade. The lamp provides a remarkable lighting pattern with light at both sides.

It is in very good original condition, offered with the original on/off switch and power cord, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina. This lamp is best used with a half mirror bulb.
