Table Lamp Model Z in brass and black by Louis Kalff for Philips, 1950s

This classic table lamp was designed by Louis Kalff and manufactured by Philips Eindhoven in the 1950s.

The brass structure of the lamp is in the form of a ‘Z’ and is supported by a black metal cylinder. The shade is made of black painted metal and is completed with the manufacturer’s mark stamped on a brass plate.

It is in very good original condition, preserving a nice patina. The shade is in a remarkably good state. This lamp is best used with a half mirror bulb.
