Model 387 Floor Lamp by Tito Agnoli for O-Luce, 1950s

Model 387 floor lamp designed by Tito Agnoli and manufactured by O-Luce. This remarkable design is from 1954.

Special about this piece is the usage of two reflectors; Model 387 by Tito Agnoli is usually available with only one reflector. It also features two original Cornalux light bulbs, both of them capable of directing diffused light in a precise manner. Please be aware that these original Cornalux light bulbs are suitable for 240 volts and therefore can’t be used in the countries with lower voltage.

The reflectors are height-adjustable and can be turned around. The lamp has a relatively heavy, sophisticated travertine base and a 1.9 meter high nickel-plated steel stem. It is completely original and in good vintage condition with some wear consistent with age and use.

This floor lamp and the matching wall lamp from the same series are described in ‘Repertorio Del Design Italiano 1950-2000 per L’arredamento Domestico’ by Giuliana Gramigna (1954).
