Prismar table lamp by Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. for Nucleo Sormani, 1970s

Cube shaped Prismar table lamp designed by Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. in 1972 and produced by Nucleo Sormani.

This table or floor lamp consists of 5 mirror-like smoky grey elements, held together by subtle connecting chrome-plated pieces. The five glass sides in combination with an individual light bulb in the middle of the lamp create an infinity effect.

The Prismar table lamp is manufactured in three sizes, this is the middle size. The dimensions are 32 x 32 x 35 cm / 12,5 x 12,5  x 14 inches.

Studio A.R.D.I.T.I. was founded in Florence by Duccio Trassinelli; some other members of the studio were Alessandro Mazzoni and Gianni Gamberini. A.R.D.I.T.I. was started in 1968 and disbanded in 1977.

The piece comes with a certificate of authenticity by Duccio Trassinelli.
