Product name: Pair of chromed Guldpendel by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Louis Poulsen, 1950s
Pair of chromed Guldpendel pendants designed in 1956 by Vilhelm Lauritzen for Louis Poulsen. This aluminium model consist of a cylindrical top and a perforated reflector at the bottom. Originally the Guldpendel was designed with a brass lacquered almost golden surface – hence the name Guldpendel (gold pendant). This is the ‘silver’ version.
The first part of the electric wiring is ingeniously hidden in the neck of the lamp; this patented system makes it possible to regulate the length of the cord without cutting it. The light effect is very special due to the perforations along the edge.
The lamps have been rewired with high-end white fabric cord—for safety and beauty. The lamps are in very good vintage condition and fully functional with some minimal signs of usage that are difficult to see in pictures.
