Bul-Bo floor lamp by Roberto Gabetti & Aimaro Isola for Linea GB Milano, 1969

Bul-Bo floor lamp manufactured by Linea GB Milano for Ar.Bo. and designed by Roberto Gabetti & Aimaro Isola with Guido Drocco and Luciano Re in 1969.

As described by Fulvio and Napoleone Ferrari in their book ‘Luce: Lampade 1968-1973: il nuovo design italiano: “Floor lamp with variable positioning, radiating direct light. Bulb base covered with black leather, acting as a counterweight and support to the shaft. Perforated sheet metal light protection. Bellows grip. Manufacturers in leather, aluminium and black rubber. Measurements: max. 230 cm.”

The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The black leather base, resembling a boxing ball, in combination with the proportion of the lamp make it a real eye-catcher.
