Large Aghia table lamp in Murano glass by Roberto Pamio for Leucos, 1960s

Aghia table lamp, designed by Roberto Pamio and manufactured by Leucos in the late 1960s.

The lamp consists of an opaline Murano glass shade and a cylindrical black metal base with an aluminium reflector incorporated into it. The measures of the impressive crescent moon shaped shade are 50 x 24 x 35 cm (or 19 x 10 x 14 inch) and the weight is 8,5 kg (or 19 lb).

The glass diffuser of the Aghia lamp is in perfect condition. The aluminium reflector has some signs of wear and use, but sitting under the glass shade they are normally not visible. The on/off switch is not original.
