The Ruspa or E63 table lamp was designed by Umberto Riva in 1963 for a competition and taken into production as of 1969 by different manufacturers (Francesconi, Bieffeplast and Fontana Arte).

This incomparable and unique model with adjustable shade somehow makes one think of a robot.

The condition of the lamp is very good, with only some minor wear consistent with age and use.

The lamp has been described in the Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000 by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 167 (1969).
