Black Farstar Table Lamp by Adalberto Dal Lago & Adam Tihany for Francesconi, 1970s

Black Farstar table lamp designed by Adalberto Dal Lago and Adam D. Tihany and manufactured by Francesconi in 1973.

The dome shaped glass shade sits on a plastic base. The large round light dimmer that also functions as an on / off switch is a characteristic feature of this black Farstar. There is a sticker with the brand on the bottom of the lamp.

The model can be used both as a table lamp and a wall lamp. It works with an E14 bulb.

The condition of the lamp is very good.

Farstar is described in the ‘Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 218 (1973).
