Gi-Gi table lamp by Umberto Riva for Fontana Arte, 1990s

Gi-Gi table lamp designed by Umberto Riva and manufactured by Fontana Arte. The first prototype of Gi-Gi was made in 1975, but production did not start until 1990.

The lamp consists of a diffuser in satin-finished natural blown glass and a metal structure with a metallic turquoise finish. The parts are connected by a bayonet lock.

There were three versions; by a mere adjustment of the base Gi-Gi was available as a table, wall or ceiling lamp.
