Product name: Edy floor lamp by Piero Castiglioni for Fontana Arte, 1980s
Edy floor lamp designed by Piero Castiglioni for Fontana Arte in 1982.
Besides a floor lamp, the Edy series of low-voltage lamps consisted of a hanging lamp, a wall lamp and a table lamp, each with a different metal frame.
The main part of the lamp is tube-shaped, it contains a halogen light bulb, and it is made of lacquered metal and a mat glass diffuser.
The construction with the extra long electrical wire (10 meters/ 393 inch long), allows the lamp to be used as a portable lamp. Another feature of the Edy lamp is the suspension ring at the end of the main tube-shaped body. The frame is made of varnished metal.
Very rare model.
As can be seen in the last picture, this lamp forms a spectacular combination with the table lamp that we currently also have in our collection.
