Product name: Pair of Lampira wall lamps by G.P.A. Monti for Fontana Arte, 1970s
Pair of red Lampira wall lamps designed by Gian Emilio, Piero and Anna Monti for Fontana Arte in the early 1970s.
The lamps are made of ABS and opaline glass. Two plastic ‘screens’ can cover the glass hemisphere in a more of lesser degree, and thus affecting the amount of light that is emitted.
G.M.A. Monti also designed a similar table model Tapira, that we also have in our collection.
Original branding on the back of the lamp.
Literature: Domes No. 512, July 1972 (where it is indicated that Lampira is a table lamp).
