Saturn pendant by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1960s

Saturn pendant designed by Danish designer Jo Hammerborg and manufactured by Fog & Mørup.

The lamp is a structure of two concentric cylindrical copper bands that are held together by a black lacquered band. At the top and the bottom, the lamp is closed by two acrylic plates that create an anti-dazzle and glare-free effect. It was produced in two versions, in copper and in aluminium, the copper version being the most successful.

The lamp is in very good and complete vintage condition with only minor signs of age and use. This Saturn pendant has been rewired with 2 m high-end black fabric cord—for safety and beauty.
