Product name: Pair of Sciuko table lamps by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, 1966
A pair of Sciuko lamps designed in 1966 by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and produced by the Italian lighting manufacturer Flos.
The lamp consists of a enameled metal body with two gears which allow the bracket to lock into different positions. The lamp can therefore be used as a table lamp and as a wall lamp. The reflector of pressed opalglass offers concentrated light.
The pieces are in very good vintage condition with minor signs of usage.
Rare set.
This modern lamp is described in the ‘Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000’ by Giuliana Gramigna (page 129) and ‘The adventure of design: Gavina’ by Virgilio Vercelloni (page 47).
