Spargiotto table lamp by Matteo Thun with Andrea Lera for Bieffeplast.

In a Bieffeplast catalogue we found the following description: “Reading lamp made of metal with shade in printed glass. One Tubular Neon lamp 45 W. Sizes: cm 17 x 17 x 35 cm”

The lamp is made of metal and glass. This table lamp with its simple geometric shape is in good vintage condition. As can be seen on the detailed photos, the top of the glass tube is slightly ‘frayed’, however this is so minimal that this is certainly not disturbing (see close-up). The glass tube also has a small chip; luckily it is located at the bottom of the tube which is placed in the metal base, so normally it is not visible (see penultimate picture).

The Spargiotto table lamp was designed as part of the Stillight series. Other well know models from this series are Chicago Tribune, WWF Tower, Spargi and Tobruk.
