Spargi table lamp designed by Matteo Thun with Andrea Lera for Bieffeplast in 1985.

In a Bieffeplast catalogue we found the following description: “Reading lamp in painted steel with cupola in printed glass. One Halogen bulb 12 V 50 W. Sizes: cm 20 x 20 x 20 cm.”

The green button on the front right of the first photo is the on/off switch.

The Spargi table lamp was designed as part of the Stillight series. Other well know models from this series are Chicago Tribune, WWF Tower and Tobruk.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition.

The original transformer of the halogen lamp converts 110 volts to 12 volts. Preparations have been made to convert the lamp to a new transformer so that the lamp can also be used in countries with 220 volts. The lamp plug has been replaced.
