Product name: White table lamp made of two molded plastic half-spheres with wooden base, 1970s
White table lamp probably from Italy and made in the 1970s. The piece is made of two white half-spheres in molded plastic that are connected by small decorative elements.
This lamp resembles the Sirio table lamp that is designed by Sergio Brazzoli and Ermanno Lampa for Guzzini in the 1970s. With its 35 cm / 14 inch height it is however significantly higher than Sirio, that is only 20 cm / 8 inch high. This lamp has a wooden base which cannot be considered as being characteristic of lamps manufactured by Guzzini.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The original electrical wiring has been replaced by a new one for safety and beauty.
