Product name: Silver and Blue Facet pendant by Louis Weisdorf for Lyfa, 1960s
Louis Weisdorf, the renowned Danish architect and designer, created this silver Facet pendant light in 1963. The Facet consists of 18 identically-shaped shades. The construction of the lamp is a 3-D puzzle, as each piece fits into the neighbouring pieces and the lamp gets its original shape when all pieces are put together and a cylinder is formed.
Weisdorf designed two versions of the Facet, a silver and a gold one. We have both versions in our collection.
In case you would like to know more about the similarities and the differences between Facet and its successor the Facet-Pop we advise you to have a look at the Discover section of our website.
